General Municipal Election - November 5, 2024\nRECOMMENDATION:\nThat the City Council adopts the next Resolutions, in order, in connection with the\nNovember 5, 2024, General Municipal Election:\n1. Resolution Calling and Giving notice of the November 5, 2024, General Municipal\nElection for the election of three Members of the City Council of the City of El\nCajon: one member each for District No. 2, District No. 3, and District No. 4, each\nserving a full four-year term to expire December 2028;\n2. Resolution requesting the County Board of Supervisors to consolidate the General\nMunicipal Election with the Statewide General Election on November 5, 2024;\n3. Resolution adopting regulations for candidates calling for prepayment for a\n200-word Candidate's Statement; and\n4. Resolution adopting regulations to resolve a tie vote for the City Council Election\nby lot.
