9.e APPROVAL OF A ONE-YEAR FIRE SERVICES COOPERATIVE 75\nAGREEMENT WITH THE RIVERSIDE COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT TO\nPROVIDE FIRE PROTECTION, FIRE PREVENTION, RESCUE, AND\nMEDICAL EMERGENCY SERVICES FOR THE CITY OF PALM DESERT\nRECOMMENDATION:\n1. Approve a Cooperative Agreement with the Riverside County Fire\nDepartment to provide fire protection, fire prevention, rescue, and\nmedical emergency services for the City of Palm Desert from July 1,\n2024, through June 30, 2025, as approved to final form by the City\nAttorney.\n2. Authorize and direct the Mayor to execute the Cooperative\nAgreement.
