a) REPORT AWARD OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENTS FOR\n23-0002 ON-CALL PLAN CHECKING SERVICES\n(Public Works Director Joe SanClemente)\nRecommendation: Staff recommends City Council:\n1. Award a contract for on-call plan check services to Transtech Engineers, Inc. at a\nnot-to-exceed amount of $500,000 for a term of five years ending January 10, 2028, with\nan option to allow the City Manager to extend up to one additional year (Attachment 5);\n2. Award a contract for on-call plan check services to Bureau Veritas, Inc. at a\nnot-to-exceed amount of $500,000 for a term of five years ending January 10, 2028, with\nan option to allow the City Manager to extend up to one additional year (Attachment 6);\nand\n3. Authorize the Mayor to execute and the City Clerk to attest the proposed agreements\nsubject to approval by the City Attorney.
