22. Event Programming and Site Maintenance for the Susan Rubio Zocalo\nPark and Civic Plaza- Fiscal Year 24/25 Funding\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Direct Staff to present a Request for Funding to the Measure BP\nStakeholders Oversight Committee (SOC) for the Programming and\nMaintenance of the Zocalo Plaza.\n2. The estimated amount of funding needed is $ 115,000 for\nProgramming and $50,000 for Maintenance for a total cost of\n$165,000 for FY 24/25.\n3. Direct staff to establish a programming calendar that will have\ncommunity and civic activities such as musical performances, dance\nand folklorico performances, poetry, community dance “tardeadas”,\nlocal culinary expos, etc, at least twice a month as a goal.
