J.1 NATIONAL POLLUTANT DISCHARGE ELIMINATION SYSTEM REGULATORY\nRATE SCHEDULE FOR FY2024-2025 (REPORT OF: PUBLIC WORKS)\nPublic Hearing Regarding the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System\nRegulatory Rate Schedule for New and Existing Residential, Common Interest,\nCommercial, Industrial, and Quasi-Public Use Development Proposed Fiscal Year\n2024/2025 Annual Rates\nRecommendation(s)\nThat the City Council:\n1. Conduct a Public Hearing to review and confirm the annual regulatory rate\nschedule for the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Program for New\nand Existing Residential, Common Interest, Commercial, Industrial and Quasi-Public\n7\nLand Uses.\n2. Adopt Resolution No. 2024-XX, a Resolution of the City Council of the City of\nMoreno Valley, California, Authorizing and Approving the Levy of the National\nPollutant Discharge Elimination System Regulatory Rates for New and Existing\nResidential, Common Interest, Commercial, Industrial, and Quasi-Public Use\nDevelopment of the County of Riverside Property Tax Roll.\n3. Authorize the Chief Financial Officer to adjust the rates levied on the property tax\nbills in the event there are any parcel changes between the City Council meeting date\nand the date the fixed charges are submitted to the County of Riverside or other\nadjustments, provided the applied rate does not exceed the maximum rate, is in\ncompliance with the ballot for each parcel, and is consistent with the adopted budget.
