17. CONTRACT AMENDMENT: COMPUTER SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL SERVICES –\nF2M23-37, C2M23-34, M2M24-99\nOn May 8, 2023, the City Council awarded a three-year contract to Technology Systems,\nInc. (TSI) for computer support services, with an option to extend for three more years.\nThe contract is for an amount not to exceed $94,650 per year. On July 24, 2023, the City\nCouncil awarded a contract to Tyler Technologies for the acquisition and implementation\nof a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Staff is seeking professional\nservices to aid in the implementation of the ERP system. TSI currently provides computer\nsupport services and customized reporting for Finance, Human Resources, and Public\nWorks and Utilities Department. Given TSI's familiarity with the City's financial software,\nthey are well-suited to assist with implementing the ERP system. Incorporating these\nadditional services will raise the contract by $60,000, bringing the total contract amount to\nnot exceed $154,650.\nRecommended Action: City Council approve a First Amendment, subject to final\nlanguage approval by the City Manager and City Attorney, to the computer support\n11\n6-24-24\nprofessional services agreement with Technology Systems, Inc. (C2M23-34) for an\nadditional $60,000 in an amount not to exceed $154,650 through June 30, 2025; and,\ndirect staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize Council's action. (M2M24-99)
