4E. AGREEMENT WITH THE BUENA PARK SCHOOL DISTRICT (BPSD) FOR SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER SERVICES FOR\nTHE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR\nAuthorize the Police Department to renew an agreement to provide School Resource Officer (SRO) services at Buena\nPark Middle School and Beatty Middle School. Associated costs are $232,569. The BPSD will reimburse the City for\n75% of these costs, which is equivalent to 180 instructional days, in the amount of $174,426. This leaves $58,143 to\nbe funded by the General Fund (Account No. 11-5059-650402).\n— Recommended Acton: 1) Approve an agreement between the City of Buena Park and the Buena Park School\nDistrict (BPSD) to provide School Resource Officer services at Buena Park Middle School and Beatty Middle\nSchool for the 2024-2025 school year; 2) Authorize the City Manager and City Attorney to make any necessary,\nnon-monetary changes to the agreement; and, 3) Authorize the City Manager and City Clerk to execute the\nagreement.
