5E. REORGANIZATION PLAN FOR THE COMMUNITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT HOMELESS SERVICES DIVISION AND\nRESOLUTION AMENDING THE BUENA PARK MANAGEMENT UNIT COMPENSATION PLAN ESTABLISHING THE NEW\nHOMELESS OUTREACH SUPERVISOR CLASSIFICATION SPECIFICATION AND PAY RANGE\nTo authorize the Human Resources Department to reorganize the City’s Homeless Services Division to better fit the\nneeds of the program. This new position will cost $168,000 in total compensation. $139,000 from the BSCC Grant is\nexpected to fund most of this position for one year. The balance of $29,000 is expected to come from the City’s\nGeneral Fund Undesignated Reserve Fund balance.\n— Recommended Action: 1) Adopt a Resolution amending the Buena Park Management Unit Compensation\nPlan establishing the Homeless Outreach Supervisor classification and salary range; 2) Approve the new job\nclassification specification of Homeless Outreach Supervisor; and, 3) Appropriate $139,000 of funding from the\nBoard of State and Community Corrections (BSCC) Grant Fund and $29,000 from the undesignated General\nFund balance for this purpose.
