4F. AGREEMENT WITH THE FULLERTON JOINT UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT (FJUHSD) FOR SCHOOL RESOURCE\nOFFICER SERVICES FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR\nTo renew the agreement to provide School Resource Officer service at Buena Park High School. Associated costs are\n$262,419. The Fullerton Joint Union High School District shall reimburse the City of Buena Park for SRO service for\n180 instructional days, or 75% of a police officer’s salary and benefits up to $196,815. This leaves a residual of\n$65,604 annually to fund a full-time Police Officer. Staff recommends that the remaining $65,604 be paid from the\nGeneral Fund for this program (11-5059-650402).\n— Recommended Action: 1) Approve an agreement with the Fullerton Joint Union High School District (FJUHSD)\nto provide school resource officer services at Buena Park High School for the 2024-2025 school year; 2)\nAuthorize the City Manager and City Attorney to make any necessary, non-monetary changes to the agreement;\nand, 3) Authorize the City Manager and City Clerk to execute the agreement.
