DISCUSSION AND DETERMINATION OF WHETHER THE PALOS VERDES\nESTATES POLICE DEPARTMENT HAS REMAINED IN COMPLIANCE WITH\nCALIFORNIA ASSEMBLY BILL 481-MILITARY EQUIPMENT USE\nRecommendation: That the City Council discuss and determine whether\neach type of military equipment identified in attachment A of this report\ncomplies with the standards for approval set forth in Assembly Bill 481,\nsubdivision (d)-Military Equipment Use.\n(D) Prior military equipment use complied with the military equipment use\npolicy that was in effect at the time, or if prior uses did not comply with\nthe accompanying military equipment use policy, corrective action has\nbeen taken to remedy nonconforming uses and ensure future\ncompliance.”\nSTAFF REPORT
