6. CONTRACT WITH ROY ALLAN SLURRY SEAL, INC. FOR MISCELLANEOUS\nSLURRY SEAL FISCAL YEAR 2023-24 PROJECT\nProposed Motion:\n1. Approve plans and specifications for Miscellaneous Slurry Seal Fiscal Year (FY) 2023-\n24 Project.\n2. Approve the following budget transfers and appropriations in CIP Project 44699\nMiscellaneous Slurry Seal FY 2023-24:\n· $600,000 SB1 Funds (Fund 74) from CIP Project 44589 Residential Street\nProgram to CIP Project 44699 Miscellaneous Slurry Seal FY 2023-24 within the\nCapital Projects Fund (Fund 74)\n· $400,000 General Fund (Fund 74) from CIP Project 44589 Residential Street\nProgram to CIP Project 44699 Miscellaneous Slurry Seal FY 2023-24 within the\nCapital Projects Fund (Fund 74).\n3. Award $820,596.05 construction contract for Miscellaneous Slurry Seal FY 2023-24\nProject to Roy Allan Slurry Seal, Inc. and authorize City Manager, or designee, to\nexecute and administer the contract, in a form approved by the City Attorney.\n4. Authorize Public Works Director, or designee, to approve any future change orders for\nconstruction and professional engineering construction support services within the\napproved project budget.
