C. FIRST AMENDMENT TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH\nARCHITECTURAL RESOURCES GROUP (ARG) FOR PREPARATION OF\nHISTORIC RESOURCES SURVEY PHASE 2\nThe Community Development Department is requesting a First Amendment to\nan existing professional services agreement with Architectural Resources Group\n(ARG) for preparation of a citywide historic resources survey. On October 3,\n2023, the City Council approved the Professional Services Agreement with ARG\nand authorized the City Manager to execute said agreement and issue a\npurchase order in the amount of $40,000. The project is nearing completion,\nbut additional time is needed for the full completion of the survey report and\ndistrict maps. No additional funds are requested as part of this term extension.\nFunds have already been allocated as part of Fiscal Year 2024-2025.\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: Not a Project as\ndefined in Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines.\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Approve the First Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement with\nArchitectural Resources Group (ARG) to extend the term of the agreement\ntill December 3, 2024; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute the amendment.
