24. RESOLUTION NO. 9912 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA FE\nSPRINGS WAIVING THE REQUIREMENTS OF CHAPTER 117 (OIL & GAS) OF\nTHE SANTA FE SPRINGS CODE OF ORDINANCES FOR ONE UNLOCATED\nABANDONED OIL WELL AT 12300 LAKELAND ROAD, SANTA FE SPRINGS,\nCALIFORNIA, AND RELATED ENVIRONMENTAL RELEASE AND INDEMNITY\nAGREEMENT (COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT)\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1) Adopt Resolution No. 9912, waiving the requirement of Chapter 117 (Oil & Gas)\nof the Santa Fe Springs Municipal Code of Ordinance for an unlocated\nabandoned oil well at 12300 Lakeland Road, Santa Fe Springs, California (APN:\n8025-002-026); and\n2) Approve the Environmental Release and Indemnity Agreement between the City\nof Santa Fe Springs and Duke Realty Lakeland Road LP, to indemnify and\nrelease the City of Santa Fe Springs from any and all liability associated with the\noil and gas wells (API 04-037-16095 and API 04-037-16096), located on property\nat 12300 Lakeland Road, Santa Fe Springs, California (APN: 8025-002-026); and\n3) Authorize the Mayor or designee to execute an Indemnity Agreement between\nthe City of Santa Fe Springs and Duke Realty Lakeland Road LP.
