PRESENTATION OF PASADENA RENTAL HOUSING BOARD ON\nRECOMMENDED CHANGES TO PASADENA FAIR AND EQUITABLE\nHOUSING CHARTER\nAMENDMENT (ARTICLE XVIII) AND POTENTIAL DIRECTION TO\nCITY STAFF TO PREPARE NECESSARY RESOLUTIONS TO AMEND\nTHE CITY CHARTER\n(Rent Stabilization Dept.)\nRecommendation: It is recommended that the City Council:\n(1) Find that the proposed action in the agenda report is exempt\nfrom the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA\nguidelines Section\n15061(b)(3), “Common Sense” exemption; and\n(2) Direct staff to prepare and return with necessary resolutions,\nsubject to Council approval, of any changes to City Charter Article XVIII, as\ndetailed in the agenda\nreport, or any variation as directed by Council, on the November 5,\n2024 General Municipal Election ballot in the City of Pasadena.
