14. Award of Construction Contract to Teichert Utilities for Utility\nUndergrounding District 1A – Stratford Court South Project & General\nProgram Update\nRecommended Action: Staff recommends that the City Council take the following\nactions:\n1) Award a $4,706,395 construction contract to Teichert Utilities (Attachment\nA) for the Utility Undergrounding District 1A – Stratford Court South Project;\n2) Approve a $425,228 Task Order with Utility Specialists Southwest, Inc. for\nConstruction Management and Inspection Services (Attachment B);\n3) Approve a $71,513 Task Order with NOVA Services, Inc. for Geotechnical\nServices (Attachment C);\n4) Approve a 10% project contingency of $519,316;\n5) Authorize the City Manager to execute the required documents and any\ncontract and Task Order changes, within the project contingency,\nnecessary to complete the work; and\n6) Amend the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Operating and Capital Budget as\ndescribed in the Fiscal Impact section of the agenda report.\nReference: Clerk’s File No. 406-1, 1001-2
