19. Award the Professional Services Agreement with General Technologies and Solutions LLC for Design\nof the HSIP Cycle 11 – Signalized Intersection Safety Enhancements Project for an amount not to\nexceed $267,284, at Barranca Avenue and Route 66; Route 66 and Hunters Trail; Lone Hill Avenue\nand Kenoma Street; Gladstone Street and Valley Center Avenue; Gladstone Street and Sunflower\nAvenue; Sunflower Avenue and Juanita Avenue, and Gladstone Steet and Barranca Avenue\nCITY RECOMMENDATION: 1. Award the Design Services Agreement to General Technologies and\nSolutions (GTS) LLC, for the HSIP Cycle 11-Signalized Intersection Safety Enhancements Project for\nan amount of $242,985 with a 10% contingency in the amount of $24,299 for a total amount not to\nexceed of $267,284; 2. Authorize the Public Works Director to execute any necessary change orders in\nan amount not to exceed 10% ($24,299) of the contract amount; and 3. Authorize the City Manager or\nhis designee to execute the agreement including minimal and/or non-substantive changes.
