A.7. Fire Station Door Inspection, Maintenance, and As-Needed Repair Services.\n(File 0700-25)\nRecommendation: That the City Council\n1. Adopt Resolution 2023-016:\na. Authorizing the City Manager to execute a Professional Services Agreement\nwith National Garage Doors in an amount of $5,900 per year for annual\nmaintenance service, and $3,000 per year for unforeseen, as-needed repairs,\nfor a total not to exceed amount of $8,900 per year for Fiscal Year 2022/23.\nb. Authorizing the City Manager to extend the agreement up to four additional one-\nyear terms, at the City’s option.\nc. Authorizing the City Manager to approve the one-time purchase and installation\nof six garage doors for the Solana Beach Fire Station in an amount of $140,000,\nand a 15% ($21,000) contingency amount for unforeseen repairs, for a total not\nto exceed amount of $161,000 for FY 2022/23.\nd. Authorizing the City Treasurer to increase the FY 2022/2023 CIP Budget in the\namount of $74,000 and authorizing the transfer of $74,000 from the Facilities\nReplacement Fund to the CIP fund.\ne. Authorizing the City Treasurer to amend the FY 2022/23 Adopted Budget\naccordingly.\nItem A.7.
