2) CONSIDERATION TO APPROVE A SECOND READING AND ADOPT ORDINANCE NO. 1726\nAPPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE SAN FERNANDO MUNICIPAL CODE, ADDING ARTICLE\nVII OF CHAPTER 74 TO PROHIBIT ENCAMPMENTS AND STORAGE OF PERSONAL PROPERTY IN\nPUBLIC PLACES WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF SAN FERNANDO, AS AMENDED\nRecommend that the City Council adopt Ordinance No. 1726 that was introduced for first\nreading at the City Council meeting of July 1, 2024, in title only and waive further reading,\napproving an amendment to the San Fernando Municipal Code, adding Article VII of Chapter\n74 to Prohibit Encampments and Storage of Personal Property in public places within the City\nlimits of San Fernando, as Amended to correct Section 74.282. – Enforcement to read as\nfollows:\nSec. 74-282. - Enforcement.\nViolations of this Article may be prosecuted as misdemeanors under Article II of Chapter 1 or\nas public nuisances under Article III of Chapter 1. The enforcement procedures of these\nArticles are in addition to any specific enforcement procedures set forth in this Article. Unless\notherwise expressly provided, the remedies and penalties provided by this Chapter are\ncumulative to each other, and to the remedies and penalties available under any other\nprovision of this Code and any other laws.
