Item 203: California Coastal Commission Modifications to the Housing Action Package 1.0\nAmendments to the Municipal Code and Local Coastal Program.\nThis item will be considered in the afternoon session which is scheduled to begin at\n2:00 p.m.\nTotal Estimated Cost of Proposed Action and Funding Source:\nThere is no City expenditure being approved with this action.\nCouncil District(s) Affected: Citywide.\nProposed Actions:\nAmendments to the Municipal Code and Local Coastal Program to adopt the California\nCoastal Commission’s modifications to the Homes for All of Us – Housing Action\nPackage Code Update. The City Council adopted the Homes for All of Us – Housing\nAction Package Code Update on March 1, 2022. State law requires the California Coastal\nCommission's certification of amendments to the Local Coastal Program before they can\ntake effect in the Coastal Zone. The California Coastal Commission conditionally\ncertified the Homes for All of Us – Housing Action Package Code Update and\namendments to the Local Coastal Program with modifications on April 12, 2024.
