9. AWARD CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR SLURRY SEAL PROJECT\nFOR ARTERIAL STREETS: MUIRLANDS BLVD. FROM BAKE PARKWAY\nTO LOS ALISOS BLVD. AND JERONIMO ROAD FROM BAKE PARKWAY\nTO LOS ALISOS BLVD. (PW 2021-05B)\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: 1. Approve contract documents for construction\nof Slurry Seal Project for Arterial Streets: Muirlands Boulevard from Bake\nParkway to Los Alisos Boulevard and Jeronimo Road from Bake Parkway to\nLos Alisos Boulevard PW 2021-05B. 2. Award a Construction Contract in\nthe amount of $1,758,120 to VSS International, Inc. 3. Authorize the Mayor\nto sign, and the City Clerk to attest the contract with VSS International, Inc.\n4. Reject all other bids received and authorize return of the bid bonds upon\nreceipt of the executed contract documents from VSS International, Inc.
