A. PROGRAMMING OF THE CITY’S YEAR 3 PERMANENT LOCAL HOUSING\nALLOCATION (PLHA) FUNDING AND APPROVAL OF PROGRAMS TO ASSIST\nFAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS EXPERIENCING OR AT RISK OF\nHOMELESSNESS\nThe City Council is requested to adopt a resolution approving the programming of\nthe City’s Year 3 PLHA funding and programs to assist families and individuals\nexperiencing or at risk of homelessness.\nPresenter: Community Development Director\nRecommendation:\n1. Adopt Resolution 24-5756 establishing two programs utilizing Year 3 PLHA\nfunds assisting families and individuals in Temple City experiencing or at risk\nof homelessness with (1) case management services and (2) rental and move-\nin assistance with the following allocations (Attachment “A”):\ni. Case Management Services Program: $180,620\nii. Rental and Move-In Assistance Program: $ 74,000\nTotal Year 3 PLHA Budget: $254,620\n2. Authorize the City Manager to amend PLHA-funded program allocations up to\n50 percent of the approved allocation as necessary.
