9. RESOLUTION NOS. 9922 AND 9923 – PERTAINING TO THE CITY’S GENERAL\nMUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2024 AND THE\nSUBMISSION OF A DEDICATED PARCEL TAX TO THE VOTERS AT THAT\nELECTION (CITY CLERK)\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1) Adopt Resolution No. 9922, requesting the Board of Supervisors of the County of\nLos Angeles to consolidate a general municipal election to be held on November\n5, 2024, with the statewide general election to be held on that date; and\n2) Adopt Resolution No. 9923, calling for the holding of a general municipal election\nto be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, for the election of certain officers and\nfor the consideration of a tax measure as required by the provisions of the laws of\nthe State of California relating to general law cities.
