ORDINANCE NO. 1142 – TO AMEND CHAPTER 154 (SUBDIVISIONS) OF TITLE\n15 (LAND USE) OF THE SANTA FE SPRINGS MUNICIPAL CODE TO DEFINE\nAND ESTABLISH PROCEDURES RELATED TO LOT LINE ADJUSTMENTS, LOT\nCONSOLIDATIONS, AND LOT MERGERS/UNMERGERS AND DETERMINE\nTHAT THE ACTION IS EXEMPT UNDER CEQA (COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT)\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1) Find and determine that the Ordinance is exempt from the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section\n15061(b)(3); and\n2) Waive further reading and introduce Ordinance No. 1142 by title, amending\nChapter 154 (Subdivisions) of Title 15 (Land Use) of the Santa Fe Springs\nMunicipal Code; and\n3) Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.\nJuly 16, 2024: City Council Meeting Page 8 of 13
