22. INTRODUCTION OF ORDINANCE NO. 1144 AMENDING CHAPTER 72 OF TITLE\nVII (TRAFFIC CODE) OF THE SANTA FE SPRINGS MUNICIPAL CODE\nRELATING TO ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATIONS (PUBLIC WORKS)\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1) Introduce by title only and waive further reading of Ordinance No. 1144: An\nOrdinance of the City of Santa Fe Springs Amending Chapter 72 of Title VII\n(Traffic Code) of the Santa Fe Springs Municipal Code relating to electric Vehicle\ncharging stations; and\n2) Approve hours of use for two EV charging stations at City Hall as follows: 1)\nEmployee use from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm (Monday – Friday); and 2) General Public\nuse from 6:00 pm to 7:00 am, non-working hours and all day on weekends; and\n3) Authorize an annual appropriation of $7,500 from the SCAQMD Motor Vehicle\nSubvention Fund to cover the annual cost for subsidizing charging service and\nenergy bills related to the Employee Electric Vehicle Charging Incentive Program;\nand\n4) Take such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
