CONFIRMATION OF 2023/24 WEED ABATEMENT CHARGES (CITY CLERK)\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1) Open the Public Hearing;\nJuly 16, 2024: City Council Meeting Page 4 of 13\n2) Receive any comments from the public wishing to speak on this matter and\nthereafter close the Public Hearing;\n3) Confirm the charges listed in the Los Angeles County Agricultural Commissioner’s\n2023/24 Weed Abatement Assessment Roll and instruct the County Auditor to\nenter the amounts of these assessments against the respective parcels of land as\nthey appear on the current assessment roll.
