H. CONTRACT AWARD - DIGESTER NO. 2 CLEANING, RESIDUAL DISPOSAL\nAND INSPECTION AND FINDING THE PROJECT CATEGORICALLY\nEXEMPT FROM THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT\nStaff Recommendation\nAdopt Resolution No. 24-117, which will:\n1. Find Digester No. 2 Cleaning, Residual Disposal & Inspection, CIP Project\nNo. 21203 categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality\nAct (CEQA) under Class 1 (Existing Facilities, 14 CCR section 15301) of the\nState CEQA Guidelines.\n2. Award the Digester No. 2 Cleaning, Residual Disposal & Inspection, contract\nto M.P. Environmental Services, Inc.\n3. Approve, and authorize the City Manager to execute, Contract No. C24-41,\nby and between the City of San Clemente and M.P. Environmental Services,\nInc., providing for the Digester No. 2 Cleaning, Residual Disposal &\nInspection, in an amount not to exceed $887,340 in a form substantially\nsimilar to Contract No. C24-41(Attachment 2).\n4. Approve a 10% construction contingency of $88,734.
