FINANCE COMMITTEE: AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO AMEND CONTRACT NO. 9706-3 WITH\nNORTON SIMON MUSEUM TO INCREASE THE ANNUAL LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE\nCONTRACT BUDGET BY $171,144 THEREBY INCREASING THE GRAND TOTAL TO $337,104,\nSUBJECT TO ANNUAL CONSUMER PRICE INDEX INCREASE (PRCS Dept.)\nRecommendation: It is recommended that the City Council:\n(1) Find that the proposed action in the agenda report is not a project subject to the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 21065 of CEQA and Sections 15060(c)(2), 15060(c)(3),\nand\n15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines, and as such, no environmental document pursuant to CEQA is\nrequired;\n(2) Authorize the City Manager to amend contract No. 9706-3 with Norton Simon Museum, to increase\nthe contract amount by $171,144 thereby increasing the grand total to $337,104, subject to annual\nConsumer Price Index; and\n(3) Amend the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department FY2025 Operating Budget by\nappropriating $171,144 from the unappropriated fund balance of the General Fund (101) to cover increased\nexpenses related to landscape maintenance at Norton Simon Museum.
