22. NOTICE OF COMPLETION: AIRPORT TRACT NEIGHBORHOOD SERIES STREET\nLIGHTING CONVERSION PROJECT – F2M21-66, C2M22-4, M2M24-125\nOn January 10, 2022, the City Council awarded a contract for the Airport Tract\nNeighborhood Series Street Lighting Conversion Project to California Professional\nEngineering Inc. in the amount of not to exceed $1,293,060.50. One change order was\nissued resulting in a reduction of $160,036.00 to the original contract making the final cost\n$1,133,024.50. This project has been inspected by staff and all work has been completed\nin accordance with the City’s requirements and specifications. As such, it would be\nappropriate for the City Council to accept this project as complete and instruct that the\nNotice of Completion be filed with the County of Los Angeles Recorder’s Office.\nRecommended Action: City Council accept the work of California Professional\nEngineering Inc. for the Airport Tract Neighborhood Series Street Lighting Conversion\nProject as complete in the amount of $1,133,024.50; direct the City Clerk to file a Notice\nof Completion with the County of Los Angeles for recordation; instruct the Finance Director\nto release the 5% retention 35 days from the date of recordation if no liens are filed; and,\ndirect staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize Council’s action.
