32. 2024 STRATEGIC PLAN UPDATE – F2M24-33\nOn April 8, 2024, the City Council approved the 2024 Strategic Plan following two special\nCity Council meetings that were conducted to review and update the goals and objectives\nthat were previously established in the 2023 Strategic Plan. The 2024 Strategic Plan\ncontains six Goals, defined: Goal 1: Enhance Public Safety; Goal 2: Improve Infrastructure\n17\n7-22-24\nand Mobility; Goal 3: Create a Strong Financial Base and Strong Economic Base\n(Economic Development); Goal 4: Enhance Transparency and Open Governance; Goal\n5: Promote Sustainability; and, Goal 6: Improve Housing Opportunities. Staff will continue\nto present quarterly updates to the Council and will diligently work through Strategic Plan\ngoals and individual items to enable important progress.\nRecommended Action: City Council receive and file the 2024 Alhambra Strategic\nPlan update.
