24. NOTICE OF COMPLETION: ALHAMBRA PARK BANDSHELL IMPROVEMENT\nPROJECT – F2M24-22, C2M24-19, M2M24-127\nOn March 25, 2024, the City Council awarded a contract to Sanz Construction Inc. for the\nAlhambra Park Bandshell Project in the amount of $85,000.00. This project has been\ninspected by staff, and all work has been completed in accordance with the City’s\nrequirements and specifications. As such, it is appropriate for the City Council to accept\nthis project as complete.\nRecommended Action: City Council accept the work of Sanz Construction Inc. for\nthe Alhambra Park Bandshell Project as complete in the amount of $85,000.00; direct the\nCity Clerk to file a Notice of Completion with the County of Los Angeles for recordation;\ninstruct the Finance Director to release the 5 percent retention 35 days from the date of\nrecordation if no liens are filed; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize\nCouncil’s action.
