AUTHORIZE RFP: PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING DESIGN SERVICES FOR THE\n2024 CDBG ADA RAMP PROJECT – F2M24-54, RFP2M24-15\nPublic Works Department has identified 39 ADA ramp locations for proposed\nimprovements to enhance accessibility. Front St. and Atlantic Blvd, Glen View Dr., and\nGlenaven Ave., Parkview Dr. and Glenaven Ave., Glenaven Ave. and Orange Grove Ave.,\nMidwick Dr. and Alta Vista Dr., Midwick Dr. and Orange Grove Ave., Warwick Rd. and\nWestmont Dr., Westmont Dr. and Balzac St., Warwick Rd. and Avondale Rd., Warwick\nRd. and Westboro Ave., Meridian Ave. and Alley by Ramona Rd., La Paloma Ave. and\nAlley by Ramona Rd., Pine St. and Atlantic Blvd., Chapel Ave. and Woodward Ave.,\nMarengo Ave. and Shorb St., Benito Ave. and Shorb St., Florentina Ave. and Carlos Ave.\nGarvey Ave. and Carlos Ave., Garvey Ave. and Ramona Rd., and Fremont Ave. and\nOrange St. Additionally, construction may also include some sidewalk in these areas to\nfurther improve access. Funding for this project is available in the CDBG fund balance.\nRecommended Action: City Council authorize the distribution of Request for\nProposals for Professional Engineering Design Services for Plans, Specifications and\nCost Estimate for the 2024 CDBG ADA Ramp Project with proposals due no later than\n12:00 p.m. on August 19, 2024.
