16. NOTICE OF COMPLETION: 2024 EMERGENCY ROOF REPAIR PROJECT – F2M24-\n36, C2M24-14, M2M24-117\nOn March 11, 2024, the City Council ratified the award of contract to Wiltshire Urethane\nFoam Company for the 2024 Emergency Roof Repair Project in the amount of\n$367,992.00. There was one negative change order issued in the amount of $3,000.00,\nresulting in a final cost of $364,992.00. This project has been inspected by staff and all\nwork has been completed in accordance with the City’s requirements and specifications.\nAs such, it would be appropriate for the City Council to accept this project as complete\nand instruct that the Notice of Completion be filed with the County of Los Angeles\nRecorder’s Office.\nRecommended Action: City Council accept the work of Wiltshire Urethane Foam\nCompany for the 2024 Emergency Roof Repair Project as complete in the amount of\n$364,992.00; direct the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion with the County of Los\nAngeles for recordation; instruct the Finance Director to release the 5% retention 35 days\nfrom the date of recordation if no liens are filed; and, direct staff to undertake the steps\nnecessary to finalize Council’s action.
