1. COMMENDATIONS: ENVIRONMENTAL SCHOLARSHIP AWARD RECIPIENTS –\nF2M24-3\nMayor Pérez and City Council wish to commend the recent winners of the Third Annual\nEnvironmental Scholarship Award. Republic Services joined with the City of Alhambra to\naward five scholarships of $1,000 to Alhambra students. Each finalist submitted an essay\nbased on the theme of environmental stewardship and acknowledged the power of future\ngenerations to innovate greener living standards, an environmentally sound economy, and\nan environmentally sustainable lifestyle. The City of Alhambra is pleased to congratulate\nAlhambra students Cherry Ni, Kiara Cam and Sebastian Gonzalez for their\nachievements and for inspiring others through their dedication to the conservation of our\nplanet.
