12. NOTICE INVITING BIDS: FY 2022-2023 SB1 STREET REHABILITATION PROJECT –\nF2M22-39, N2M24-91\nStaff is proposing a Street Rehabilitation Project for FY 2022-2023 that includes the\nfollowing areas: Chestnut, Elm, Keats, Lemon, Meridian, Mimosa, Orange St., Pepper,\nRaymond, Stockbridge and Commonwealth. Additionally, the residential streets bound by\nHuntington Dr./Main Street to the north, Meridian Avenue to the east, Poplar Boulevard to\nthe south, and Westmont Avenue to the west are included in the project. The City’s\nproposed improvements include the pavement resurfacing of 20 street segments, repairs\nof broken and off-grade sidewalk, curb and gutter, alley approaches and ADA upgrades.\nPlans and specifications have been prepared for this project. Staff reviewed the plans,\nwhich they are in conformance with the City’s standards. Once approved, these will be\nposted and advertised with the bid notice and bid instructions.\nRecommended Action: City Council authorize the distribution of a Notice Inviting\nBids for the FY 2022-2023 SB1 Street Rehabilitation Project, with bids due no later than\n10:30 a.m. on September 5, 2024; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to\nfinalize Council’s action.
