4. Award the construction contract to the lowest responsible bidder, AMPCO Contracting, in the\namount of $388,650 plus a 10% contingency, for the Kraemer Power Plant Demolition Project;\nauthorize the Director of Public Works to execute the contract and related documents and to take\nthe necessary actions to implement and administer the contract; determine that the project is\nexempt from the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to Sections 15061(b)(3), 15301,\n15304 of Title 14 of the California Code of Regulations; and authorize the Finance Director to\nexecute the Escrow Agreement pertaining to contract retentions.
