43. Testing, Review, and Inspection Services of Emergency Responder Radio\nCoverage Systems Contract\nRecommendation: Acting as the Governing Body of the Consolidated Fire\nProtection District (District), approve and instruct the Fire Chief to execute a\ncontract between the District and Comsec Associates, Inc. (Comsec), for the\nprovision of testing, review, and inspection services of emergency responder\nradio coverage systems; authorize a maximum contract amount of $1,750,000\nfor a five-year term, the contract shall be effective August 1, 2024; authorize\nthe Fire Chief to execute amendments, suspensions, or termination if deemed\nnecessary, and in accordance with the approved contract terms and conditions,\nprovided the amounts payable under such amendments do not exceed the\n$1,750,000 maximum contract amount; and find that the contract is exempt from\nthe California Environmental Quality Act.
