46. School Supplemental Law Enforcement Services Agreement\nRecommendation: Approve a boilerplate school supplemental agreement by and\nbetween the County and various school districts, for the continued provision of\nas-needed supplemental law enforcement services during special events on or\nnear school campuses, for the period from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2026,\nunless sooner terminated or extended, with a one-year extension option from\nJuly 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, subject to prior approval by the Board;\nauthorize the Sheriff to execute agreements, substantially similar, with the\nschools and school districts in the County requesting such as-needed\nsupplemental law enforcement services, effective July 1, 2024, or upon\nexecution by the Sheriff, whichever is later, through June 30, 2026, unless\nsooner terminated or extended; and execute any and all amendments to the\nagreements, ensuring any negative fiscal impact to the County is avoided.\n(Sheriff’s Department) APPROVE (24-2866)
