35. Aquatic Safety Program at the Boating Instruction and Safety Center\nAgreement Amendment\nRecommendation: Authorize the Director of Parks and Recreation to execute an\namendment to an agreement with the California State University of Northridge to\nextend the agreement for 12 additional month-to-month periods, for the\ncontinued operations of the Aquatic Safety Program at the Boating Instruction\nand Safety Center at the Castaic Lake Recreation Area (5) beginning August 1,\n2024; authorize the Director to amend, suspend, terminate, or assign the\nlicense agreement, if deemed necessary, in accordance with the approved\nitems and conditions of the license agreement; and find that the proposed\napproval of the extension of the current agreement is not a project under the\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act.
