32. Local Child Care and Development Planning Council Award\nRecommendation: Approve and instruct the Director of Public Health to accept\nand implement an award from the California Department of Social Services\n(CDSS) for the ongoing implementation of Local Child Care and Development\nPlanning Council, also known as Local Planning Council (LPC), in the amount\nof $499,089 which includes a Maintenance of Effort (Net County Cost) of\n$64,000, for a total maximum reimbursable amount of $435,089 for the period\nof July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025, funded by State General Funds and\nUnited States Department of Health and Human Services’ Child Care and\nDevelopment Block Grant Assistance Listing Number 93.575; and authorize the\nDirector to take the following actions: (Department of Public Health)\nAPPROVE\nAccept and implement future awards and/or amendments that are\nconsistent with the requirements of the award to extend the funding term\nat amounts to be determined by CDSS, and/or provide an increase or\ndecrease in funding;\nAccept and implement future amendments that are consistent with the\nrequirements of the award that reflect non-material and/or ministerial\nrevisions to the award’s terms and conditions and allow for the rollover of\nunspent funds and/or redirection of funds; and\nEndorse LPC membership rosters as identified in future Certification\nStatement(s) Regarding Composition of the LPC, with two-week advance\nwritten notice to the Board, and unless otherwise instructed, sign the\nCertification Statement Regarding Composition of LPC membership\nroster annually.
