28. Bob Hope Patriotic Hall Agreement\nRecommendation: Authorize the Director of Military and Veterans Affairs to\nenter into a retroactive agreement with JVS SoCal, a non-profit corporation, to\nutilize space at Bob Hope Patriotic Hall (BHPH) (1), and for the Department of\nMilitary and Veterans Affairs (MVA) to collect costs in the amount of\napproximately $263,993 for Fiscal Year 2023-24, and subsequent annual\nmodifications based on MVA’s established annual budget for utilities, telephone\nsystems, internet infrastructure, custodial, security, landscaping, pest control,\nwaste management, maintenance services, and building repairs of BHPH, for a\nterm of five-years, with a five-year extension option, provided a 10-day notice is\nprovided to the Board via Board memo for each extension; and amend, extend,\nor terminate the agreement.
