11. JOINT TAX TRANSFER RESOLUTION ARTESIA CEMETERY DISTRICT, DOWNEY\nCEMETERY DISTRICT, AND LITTLE LAKE CEMETERY DISTRICT REORGANIZATION\nNO. 2021-03\nThree public cemeteries (Artesia Cemetery District, Downey Cemetery District, and Little Lake\nCemetery District) have undertaken a reorganization to better serve the community and rectify map\ndeficiencies. This reorganization will result in more logical boundaries for all three cemeteries that\nwill align with existing city boundaries. Approval would put Bell Gardens residents within the\nboundaries of the Downey Cemetery District and would afford all Bell Gardens residents with the\n“in district” rate for burials at the Downey Cemetery District.\nRecommendation:\nIt is staff's recommendation that the City Council adopt a Joint Tax Transfer Resolution for Artesia\nCemetery District, Downey Cemetery District and Little Lake Cemetery District Reorganization No.\n2021-03.
