5. ADOPT A RESOLUTION AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN ALL\nNECESSARY DOCUMENTS TO RECEIVE FUNDS FROM THE CALIFORNIA VOLKSWAGEN\nENVIRONMENTAL MITIGATION TRUST\nFUND (Transportation Dept.)\nRecommendation: It is recommended that the City Council:\n(1) Find that the proposed action in the agenda report is exempt from the California Environmental\nQuality Act (“CEQA”) pursuant to State CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3) (common sense exemption);\nand\n(2) Adopt a Resolution and Authorize the City Manager to execute any and all agreements\nwith the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District associated with the receipt of California\nVolkswagen Environmental Mitigation\nTrust Fund grant funding for zero-emission buses.\nRESOLUTION\nACTION: APPROVED STAFF RECOMMENDATION
