29. APPROVE RESOLUTION NO. 24-52 APPROVING A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE\nCITY OF MONTEBELLO AND THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION\nAUTHORITY (LACMTA) TO CONTINUE MONTEBELLO BUS LINES’ PARTICIPATION IN THE LOW-INCOME\nFARE EASY (LIFE) PROGRAM\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Adopt Resolution No. 24-52 approving a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the City of\nMontebello and the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA) to continue\nMontebello Bus Lines’ (MBL) participation in the Low-Income Fare is Easy (LIFE) Program effective July\n1, 2024, through June 30, 2029; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute the MOU on the City’s behalf; and\n3. Take such additional, related, action that may be desirable.
