RESOLUTION TO ESTABLISH PREFERENTIAL PARKING DISTRICT (PPD) NO. 12\nON BACH CIRCLE, BRAHMS CIRCLE, BEETHOVEN CIRCLE, CHOPIN DRIVE,\nHANDEL DRIVE, SCHUBERT CIRCLE, AND VERDI DRIVE\nPresented by Norm Wray, Senior Engineering Technician\nPurpose: Authorize the Public Works Department to establish a new preferential parking\ndistrict and properly sign the area as 'Preferential Parking Only' per California Vehicle\nCode (CVC) section 22507, and to authorize the Public Works and Police Department\nDepartments to issue the required permits in compliance with the approved resolution.\nAssociated costs in the amount of $6,600 will be absorbed by the Public Works Signage\nand Striping budget and costs in the amount of $1,500 will be funded by the Public\nWorks Operations budget (11-6240-160105).\nRecommended Action: 1) Adopt a resolution establishing Preferential Parking District\n(PPD) No. 12 on Bach Circle, Brahms Circle, Beethoven Circle, Chopin Drive, Handel\nDrive, Schubert Circle, and Verdi Drive.
