7. Resolution to Amend the Fiscal Year 2024-25 Operating Budget by Appropriating $6,000\nfrom the Refuse Administration Fund Balance to Allow for the Completion of the Solid\nWaste Franchise Fee Study and Approve Extension to Agreement with R3 to Finalize the\nStudy\nIt is recommended that the City Council take the following actions:\n1) Adopt the following resolution:\nRESOLUTION NO. 2024-118 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE\nCITY OF POMONA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2024-25\nOPERATING BUDGET BY APPROPRIATING $6,000 FROM THE REFUSE\nADMINISTRATION FUND BALANCE TO ALLOW FOR THE COMPLETION OF THE\nSOLID WASTE FRANCHISE FEE STUDY\n2) Approve an extension to the agreement with R3 Consulting Group, Inc. through\nDecember 31, 2024 to finalize tasks related to the solid waste fee study; and\n3) Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute the amendment subject to review\nby the City Attorney.
