5. AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH THE\nCODE GROUP DBA VCA CODE FOR CONTRACT BUILDING INSPECTION\nSERVICES\nPurpose: Authorize the Community and Economic Development Department to amend\nan existing agreement with VCA Code to continue to provide temporary and as-needed\nbuilding inspection services. Associated costs in the amount of $150,000 will be funded\nby the Building Division's Professional/Contractual Services budget.\nRecommended Action: 1) Approve Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services\nAgreement (PSA) No. 22-8 CD with VCA Code, for temporary building inspection\nservices to increase the total compensation amount from $30,000 to $150,000, subject\nto the same terms and conditions set forth in the original Agreement; 2) Authorize the\nCity Manager and City Attorney to make any non-monetary amendments; and,\n3) Authorize the City Manager and City and City Clerk to execute the amendment.
