5.1 UNCLAIMED PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF IRVINE\nACTION:\nReview and consider the following actions related to unclaimed property in the\nCity of Irvine:\n1) Direct staff to obtain unclaimed property records held by the California State\nController for businesses and residents located in the City of Irvine.\n2) Create a website, similar to the Unclaimed Property website maintained by\nthe City of Lake Forest, and update the unclaimed property on the City of\nIrvine website every quarter to ensure an updated local source of information\nabout unclaimed property.\n3) Conduct a robust outreach campaign to inform the residents and\nbusinesses in the City of Irvine about their unclaimed property.\n5.1\n5.1 PowerPoint
