RESOLUTION NO. 24-42 - ACCEPTING TRANSFER OF PARCEL FROM SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO\nCITY FOR FUTURE COURTHOUSE PARKING LOT EXCHANGE WITH THE COUNTY OF LOS\nANGELES\nStaff recommends City Council, on behalf of the City and as the governing body of the Successor Agency\nto the Norwalk Redevelopment Agency:\na. adopt Resolution No. 24-42, A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF\nNORWALK ACCEPTING TITLE TO THE TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 12710\nNORWALK BOULEVARD FROM THE SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE NORWALK\nREDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FOR GOVERNMENTAL PURPOSES\nb. find that the Property will be used for a governmental purpose as a parking lot for judges’ from the\nadjacent County courthouse pursuant to the Long Range Property Management Plan,\nc. approve the transfer of the Property to the City to effectuate the future exchange of parking lots\npursuant to the option agreement with the County of Los Angeles; and\nd. find that the Property is exempt surplus land pursuant to the exemptions under California\nGovernment Code §54221(f)(1)(C) and §54221(f)(1)(D); and that the transfer is not a “project”\nunder CEQA Guidelines §15378(b)(5).
