6. Consideration of Adoption of Resolution No. 2024-040\nAuthorizing the Chief Executive Officer to Enter into the\nSettlement Agreement with Kroger Co., Revert Funds to the\nCounty of Los Angeles, and to Execute any Documents\nNecessary to Implement the Action\nUnless the City intends to pursue its own litigation against Kroger\nCo., it is recommended that the City Council opt into the\nSettlement Agreement, revert settlement funds to the County of\nLos Angeles, and authorize the Chief Executive Officer to\nexecute any documents necessary to implement the action.
