Introduce Ordinance 1309, Approving M ​ unicipal Code Text Amendment 23­03; Amendments\nto Various Chapters of Title 18 Zoning to Update Housing Definitions, Allow a Variety of\nHousing Types, Update the Density Bonus Ordinance in Compliance with State Law, and\nAmend Title 17 Subdivisions to Incentivize Lot Consolidation of Housing Sites as Required to be\nin Compliance with the City’s Housing Element and State Law.\nRECOMMENDATION: Staff and the Planning Commission recommends the City Council:\nConduct a Public Hearing to receive public input.\nIntroduce Ordinance 1309 approving Municipal Code Text Amendment 23­03, a\nrequest to approve amendments to various Chapters of Title 18 Zoning to update\nhousing definitions, allow a variety of housing types, update the Density Bonus ordinance\nin compliance with State law, and amend Title 17 Subdivisions to incentivize lot\nconsolidation of housing sites as required to be in compliance with the 6th Cycle Housing\nElement.
